Today kicks off the IEM American Grand Finals in Edmonton, Canada. These eight teams will compete for $30,000 in prizes. The top 2 teams from each group will advance semi-finals. CS group stage kicks off soon after Quake, which starts around 1PM EST.

After groups the remaining four teams will play in the semi's where the 1st and 2nd team will be seeded into the global final at CeBIT in March.

UPDATE: Canadian teams, Kindred, and NERDSMASHERS have entered into the competition due to lack of attendance.
