The LEGACY GAMING NETWORK is proud to announce that we will be shutting down our online journalism operations. From when we originally started in April 2009 to present; the LEGACY GAMING NETWORK has undergone many changes and has taken this opportunity to test the marketability of E-Sports in North America. With our experience in these past months, the Legacy Gaming Network has built its foundation in order to move forward with E-Sports in North America, E-Sports internationally and the enduring attempt to bring the Asia/Europe E-Sports culture into North America.

The staff at the LEGACY GAMING NETWORK will be taking the next year to plan and re-build. It is not certain that will return as the Legacy Gaming Network due to the span of what we are looking to do in the next 3-5 years.

The past ten months have been a prototype for the management of the LEGACY GAMING NETWORK's (LGN) future projects and ambitions. With the postponing and finally the cancellation of our North American event, "Spotlight Event" we have been able to understand what is required to push E-Sports further into the direction we wish to see it.

Unlike Europe/Asia, E-Sports within North America are socially out casted by society. This is something that we would like to oversee in the upcoming years. We do not want to replicate the Championship Gaming Series (CGS), however, we want to potentially meet their concept "half-way" and combine such ideas with one's of our own. The Korean business model is the perfect way to begin the North America’s strives towards E-Sports as a recognized sport; along with this, we have added positive attributes from the Championship Gaming Series (CGS) and past attempts that we find will kick start further progress for North American E-Sports.
